Single 1st stage regulator

The 1st stage of the diving regulator will allow the relaxation of the high pressure of the diving cylinder.

There are several types of 1st stage regulators on the market according to the intended use.

The piston 1st stages are simple and proven mechanics. The diaphragm first stages make it possible to isolate the active part of the regulator from the external medium. Some "cold water" kits are also proposed to prevent the icing phenomena of the regulators by the relaxation of the gas inhaled.

Finally, some 1st stages are prepared especially for uses with oxygen for example. In this case, the 1st stage regulator will have benefited from materials and a suitable manufacturing process.

It is important to pay attention to the output flow of these first floors in your choice. In case of need at depth, a high-flow 1st stage regulator will be required.
