Tusa was founded in Japan in 1952. Since then, the brand has come a long way and is becoming a benchmark for divers seeking reliable equipment, particularly when it comes to masks like the Freedom Elite, Paragon, or Zensee Pro.
Unlike more generalist manufacturers, Tusa stays focused on a core product line: masks, fins, regulators, BCDs, and snorkels.
Tusa diving masks rely heavily on Freedom Technology, a set of technical choices unique to the brand aimed at providing a better fit on the face without depending on a single standard skirt model.

Tusa Freedom Elite Mask: features Freedom technology silicone with a wide field of view, often adopted by Level 1 and Level 2 divers.
TUSA Paragon Mask: combines comfort and high performance. Offered in a dual-lens version (compatible with corrective lenses) or single-lens (Tusa Paragon S), it includes anti-UV treatment, quick-adjust buckles, and a round-edge silicone skirt for a perfect seal without leaving marks on the face.

The Freedom Elite remains the most common choice for a first personal mask, often replacing the generic model provided during training. The Paragon goes further, featuring a tri-material frame to stay lightweight, a thinner skirt that holds better on narrow faces, and UV420 anti-reflective treatment.
Without a rigid frame, the Zensee Pro gains peripheral field of view and folds flat. It is the model most frequently chosen by divers who travel light or who also practice freediving.

All Tusa BCDs share two key features: the RiteTite buckle, a two-position cam buckle that adjusts without needing to hold it down, and an independent harness system that prevents the straps from shifting whether the BCD is inflated or deflated.

Tusa RS1207 DIN Regulator: simplicity, durability, and lightness. The TUSA RS-1207 regulator is the perfect partner for getting started in diving. Designed around a piston first stage and a flexible cover second stage with a large purge button, it offers immediate ease of use and simplified maintenance—ideal for dive clubs and beginner divers.
Tusa RS609 DIN Regulator: make a splash underwater! The Tusa Platina II Hyperdry Snorkel was Tusa's first semi-dry snorkel. A high-visibility valve diverts water drops before they reach the mouthpiece, and the flex tube allows it to bend away or fit into a BCD pocket (on most sizes).
