This anodised aluminium housing is designed to accommodate the Atomos Ninja V, Ninja V+ and Ninja Ultra monitor-recorders. It provides full protection for your 5-inch screen during underwater shoots at depths of up to 100 metres. Its compact design keeps the footprint small whilst providing positive buoyancy underwater, making your entire video setup lighter. Thanks to the fully integrated remote controls, you can adjust your exposure and focus settings without taking your eyes off your subject.

The MX-NINJA V is the housing we tested for you in demanding video setups. Can the touchscreen be used once it is inside the housing ? The touchscreen cannot be operated directly with your fingers, but the housing features precise mechanical levers and push-buttons that allow you to access all the device’s menus and functions whilst underwater.

Is the housing compatible with other brands of camera bodies ? Exactly: simply fit your main camera housing with a suitable M24 or M16 bulkhead to route the Marelux HDMI or SDI connection cable through it.

What is the purpose of the included vacuum system ? This device allows you to evacuate the air from inside the housing before diving. An LED provides visual confirmation that the system is completely watertight, thereby eliminating the stress of water ingress whilst filming.
