The Shearwater NERD2 SA (Near Eye Remote Display - Stand Alone) is the world's first technical dive computer which is attached directly to the mouthpiece (DSV or BOV) by the rebreather. This revolutionary device allows a parmanent line of sight during the dive for all important information. Thanks to a micro LCD display and a magnifying glass, the data is comparatively displayed on a 32 inch TV at a distance of about 3.5 meters. The eye does not need to be refocused to read the information. This allows you to switch completely relaxed between the environment and the Shearwater NERD2 display. If you look straight ahead, the numbers disappear from view and, if necessary, they are immediately visible again.

The diving computer Shearwater NERD2 shows the same information as the Shearwater Petrel dive computer and has the same rugged construction to handle the most extreme situations. Via Bluetooth the logbook can be transferred to a PC or MAC. Likewise, firmware upgrades can be carried out via Bluetooth.
