The Divevolk double clamp is designed for divers who wish to build or extend their articulated arm: it forms the link between your base plate, your float arms and your lights.

We tend to overlook clamps, but that’s a mistake. What I like about the Divevolk clamp is the length of the clamping lever: you get a great grip to secure the arm without having to use excessive force. It’s lightweight but feels sturdy. A quick tip: rinse them thoroughly with fresh water after every dive to prevent salt from seizing up the screw thread.

Do you need more than one per arm ? Yes: you need one per joint. For example, if you want to attach an arm between your camera mount and your torch, you’ll need two clamps (one on each side of the arm).

Can they be used with arms from other brands ? Absolutely: as long as your ball heads are 25 mm in diameter (the global standard for underwater photography), these clamps will do the job perfectly.

Does the paint wear off over time ? The black anodised finish is very durable. Of course, with repeated friction against the ball joints, normal signs of wear may appear on the inside of the jaws, but this does not affect the clamping force in any way.
