K01 Thermolite Thermal Gloves

  • Thermolite fibre: a hollow fibre that traps air to provide exceptional thermal insulation without adding excessive bulk under your gloves.
  • Design: quickly wicks sweat away to keep your hands dry, preventing the cold sensation caused by moisture.
  • Drying: thanks to its water-repellent properties, this liner dries much faster than a traditional cotton or wool model.
  • Design: allows you to retain good dexterity for handling your carabiners or computer, even with the added thickness.
  • Fitted cuff: a cut that sits high enough to ensure a perfect seal with your technical base layers and prevent heat loss.
  • Made in Italy

K01 Thermolite Thermal Gloves

K01 Thermolite Thermal Gloves

The Thermolite K01 glove is designed for divers who use drysuit systems and want to maximise their comfort in cold water: unlike standard liner gloves, Thermolite technology provides consistent warmth even in slightly damp conditions.

It is an essential accessory for technical, cave or winter diving. Its lightness and softness make it a true second skin that slips under any drysuit glove (Si-Tech, Kubi or others) without creating uncomfortable creases.

Technical specifications of the Thermolite K01 thermal gloves

  • Material: 100% genuine Thermolite fibre.
  • Properties: thermal insulation, breathable and water-repellent.
  • Use: liner gloves for waterproof glove systems.
  • Care: machine washable, does not shrink and retains its properties over time.

The Diveavenue expert’s opinion on the Thermolite K01 thermal gloves

Having tested quite a few liner gloves, the Thermolite from K01 really stands out from the crowd. What I like is that you don’t sweat in them whilst getting ready on the boat, which prevents your hands from freezing once in the water. They’re so thin that you forget you’re wearing an extra layer, whilst still feeling a real difference in temperature during extended decompression stops.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can they be used with standard wet gloves ? That isn’t their primary use. They’re designed to stay dry under a waterproof glove. If you use them under neoprene gloves, they’ll eventually become waterlogged and lose some of their thermal insulation.

What is the difference compared to silk liners ? Silk is comfortable but manages moisture very poorly and dries slowly. Thermolite is far more technical: it is warmer for the same thickness and actively wicks water vapour away from the inside of the glove.

Are they hard-wearing ? Yes, for under-gloves. The knit is tight and durable, but they are still technical garments designed to be worn under protective gloves. Avoid handling abrasive objects directly whilst wearing them to keep them in good condition.
