Is there a risk of the tool breaking if the seal is stuck ? It is designed to be rigid, but the plastic offers slight flexibility to prevent breakage. If a seal is really stuck, we recommend using a little lubricant or warm water to soften it before removal.

Can I use it to install new seals ? Although it is mainly used for removal, the flat side can help to gently position a new seal in its housing without using your fingernails, which is very handy for small diameter seals.

Is the tool resistant to solvents or greases ? Yes, it is made of a polymer that is resistant to lubricants commonly used in diving (silicone grease, Krytox, Christo-Lube).
