SF TECH softshell jacket

The SF TECH softshell jacket is thin and lightweight, making it completely discreet while offering the possibility of integrating a heating system into any configuration.

Its softshell material, which is both breathable and insulating, allows for continuous moisture wicking while retaining heat. The layer in contact with the skin remains dry, comfortable and pleasant to wear.

The SF TECH softshell jacket is the solution of choice for divers who want a source of heat focused on the chest without the bulk of extra sleeves.

It is the perfect complement to the SF TECH Polartec jumper and SF TECH Polartec leggings for full thermal protection to wear under your dry suit.

Technical features of the SF TECH softshell jacket

Materials: outer 88% polyester/12% elastane; lining 100% polyester.
Type: sleeveless vest to wear under another thermal layer.
Heating capacity: 4 pads (not included) distributed across the chest and back.
Finishes: SF Tech logo on the chest and wide elasticated crotch.

🤿 The Diveavenue expert's opinion

The Softshell vest is the perfect product for those who already have a thick undersuit but are starting to feel the effects of the cold on long dives. What I like about it is how thin it is: it doesn't affect your buoyancy. The crotch strap is also a strong point, as it prevents the vest from riding up under your arms when you put on your dry suit. An essential piece of Swiss modularity.

❓ Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Why does the vest have to be worn directly on the skin ? To ensure optimal heating efficiency, the vest must be worn as close to the body as possible so that the pads can diffuse their heat without any intermediate thermal barrier.

Can I use it with heating pads from another brand ? The pockets and cable routing system are specifically designed for the SF Tech heating system, ensuring a perfect fit and electrical safety.

Is the vest washable ? Yes, its bacteria-resistant composition makes it easy to care for. Just be sure to remove all electrical components before washing.
