The Bigblue EO controller is the management interface between your external battery and your heating system. We know that energy management is critical: heating too much at the start can drain your battery before the end of your decompression.

With this compact box, you can maintain precise control over the power delivered continuously.

Technical specifications

Material: corrosion-resistant anodised aluminium.
Adjustment levels: 4 power settings (100%, 75%, 50%, 25%).
Water resistance: tested to 100 metres (330 ft).
Connectors: EO type (male/female depending on configuration).
Configuration:

EO Heat Controller I: in-line module for controlling a single device.
EO Heat Controller Y: module distributing power to two devices, each output cable being independently adjustable (left and right) for separate control of each piece of equipment.

Compatibility: compatible with Bigblue batteries and heated clothing as well as most EO systems on the market.

What I particularly like about this model is the responsiveness of the button. Even with thick waterproof gloves, the tactile feedback is excellent. The Y version is a real plus: it avoids multiple cables and bulkhead passages, greatly simplifying the configuration for those who use the complete heated jacket and gloves set.

What is the difference between the I and Y models ? The I model has a single EO output for a single garment. The Y model includes a splitter to power two pieces of equipment (such as your gloves and waistcoat) from a single power source.

Can I use it with a battery from another brand ? Yes, as long as your battery (canister) is equipped with a standard EO plug and delivers a voltage compatible with your heated clothing (usually 12V).

How do I read the power levels ? The button changes colour each time you press it: Blue (25%), Green (50%), Orange (75%) and Red (100%). It's extremely intuitive, even during a night dive.
