The Fourth Element Proteus II women’s wetsuit offers thermal performance comparable to that of a semi-dry suit. Made from ultra-flexible, premium-quality neoprene with an anatomically fitted cut, it features Hydrolock sealing technology at the collar to prevent water ingress.

The back zip works in conjunction with the Glideskin system on the collar, cuffs and ankles to minimise water circulation beneath the wetsuit. The Thermoflex inner lining traps a layer of warm water around the torso whilst facilitating drying between dives. Supratex reinforcements protect the knees against wear caused by friction.

The Proteus II is available in two thicknesses to suit different diving locations and your sensitivity to the cold, ladies.

How do I choose between the 3 mm and 5 mm versions? If you mainly dive in the Mediterranean, in lakes on sunny days or in cool waters (16 to 23 °C), opt for the 5 mm version. If you prefer diving in the Red Sea, the Caribbean or in warm waters (> 23 °C), the 3 mm version will offer you greater lightness and maximum freedom of movement.

Is the wetsuit difficult to put on because of its watertight fit? Thanks to the flexibility of the neoprene and the Thermoflex inner lining, the wetsuit glides easily over the skin. Simply turn the Glideskin sleeves slightly outwards as you slip your hands and feet through to make it easier to put on.
