Switching to a dual-unit setup is a bit like fitting a turbo to your kit. What I like is the balance in the hand: the two motors naturally stabilise the diver’s trim. You gain in torque, which is really handy if you’re carrying a large camera housing that creates drag. And the best bit is that you can always separate the units to lend one to your buddy.

Is it difficult to assemble ? Not at all: the dual-unit frame is designed so that the motors clip into place without tools. In less than a minute, your dual scooter is ready to go.

How do you recharge the batteries ? Each unit (motor) has its own battery. You will therefore need to charge both separately using the chargers supplied with your P1 or P1XR motors.

Can accessories be mounted on the chassis ? Yes: the central deck has mounting points for installing an action camera (such as a GoPro) or a light, allowing you to film your adventures with perfect stability.
