Divevolk Housing Carrying Strap

Divevolk Housing Carrying Strap

Discover the Divevolk strap for carrying your waterproof housing whilst diving. Fitted with two swivelling carabiners/clips and an adjustable wrist strap, it allows you to attach the housing directly to your buoyancy compensator (BC), your wrist or your attachment carabiner.

Its quick-release fastening system ensures a secure lock to prevent any accidental loss of the housing on the surface or whilst diving, whilst allowing for smooth unclipping whenever you wish to take a photo or record a video.

Diveavenue’s expert review of the DIVEVOLK Housing Carrying Strap

“A smartphone housing is lightweight and can easily slip out of your hands when changing your shot or leaning backwards from the boat. This DIVEVOLK double-clip strap provides the necessary security: your housing remains securely attached to your BCD at all times, and you can unclip it instantly to frame your subject with complete freedom.”

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can the strap be attached directly to the housing without using a camera plate? Yes, the strap can be attached directly to the dedicated mounting points on the DIVEVOLK SeaTouch housing or secured to the handles of a lighting plate if you are using one.

Are the plastic clips resistant to seawater and impact? The clips are made from a high-strength engineering polymer designed specifically for the marine environment. They do not rust and retain their flexibility even after numerous dives.

How should the strap be looked after after a dive? Rinse the strap and its clip mechanisms with fresh water after every dive to remove salt and sand that could cause the carabiner springs to seize up. Leave it to dry out of direct sunlight.
