Is the sound muffled inside the housing ? Yes, this is unavoidable with a fully waterproof and airtight housing. If you’re filming on land (mountain biking, motocross), you can use a skeleton rear door (perforated) if the weather permits, but as soon as you get near water or mud, seal everything tightly.

Should I fit anti-fog inserts ? It is strongly recommended! The 1-inch sensor and the GP3 chip generate a little heat whilst operating. If you move from a boat warmed by the sun into cool water, condensation may form inside. Slipping a small anti-fog insert onto the side of the camera will definitely solve the problem.

Does the rear touchscreen still work ? No, the rigid rear window of the housing is designed to withstand pressure at 60m. The touchscreen is therefore no longer active once the housing is closed. Navigating the menus is very simple using the camera’s physical buttons.
