Wide Angle Dome for Canon Fantasea G7X, G16, G15 and Nikon P7000, P7100 housings

Designed specifically for the Fantasea weatherproof housings for the Nikon P7000 and P7100 and the Fantasea housings for the Canon G15 and G16 and G7X, the Fantasea wide-angle dome uses patented lens technology to capture high-quality, distortion-free underwater wide-angle images.

The new technology uses air instead of glass as an optical element and allows the recovery of 100% of the optical properties of lenses from underwater digital cameras or digital camcorders. The air pocket inside the lens increases the angle of refraction of the light, restoring the original angle of coverage of the camera lens.

The wide-angle dome therefore allows the original focal length of the camera (terrestrial focal length) to be recovered underwater and can be removed and put back underwater at will.
