SF TECH NEOPRENE CLASSIC drysuit

  • 2mm high-density neoprene: made from compressed Yamamoto neoprene, offering excellent thermal insulation while limiting buoyancy variations.
  • Insulation: incorporates two layers of titanium that act as thermal reflectors, retaining body heat more effectively than standard neoprene.
  • Coating: Supratex and nylon protection throughout the garment
  • Cut: a close-fitting pattern that limits internal air volume, facilitating buoyancy control for a hydrodynamic profile.

Each wetsuit is made to measure, starting at 2763.60€ including VAT (without options).

All measurements must be taken in store. Please contact us.

SF TECH NEOPRENE CLASSIC drysuit

SF TECH NEOPRENE CLASSIC drysuit

The NEOPRENE CLASSIC SF TECH drysuit is the solution of choice for divers who want significant thermal protection without necessarily relying on an active heating system.

The compressed high-density neoprene offers superior "base warmth" to trilaminate, allowing you to wear thinner undergarments in cool waters.

The suit's construction, with its flatlock seams and multiple layers of hand-applied internal waterproofing (3-5 layers of Aquasure), makes it extremely durable.

Its YKK Proseal metal front zip allows you to put it on independently.

Technical specifications of the NEOPRENE CLASSIC SF TECH drysuit

  • Material: 2mm high-density Yamamoto neoprene & Titanium layers.
  • Internal waterproofing: hand-assembled with 3 to 5 layers of Aquasure.
  • Equipment: Apeks purge valves and inflator, adjustable shoulder straps and neoprene neck protector.
  • Weight: Approximately 5 kg, offering an excellent compromise between weight and protection.
  • Closure: High-strength metal front zip with protective cover.
  • Inner fabric: 100% nylon (70 denier)
  • Stitching: Double non-penetrating stitching

🤿 Diveavenue expert opinion

The Classic Neoprene is the ultimate 'comfort' wetsuit. What I particularly appreciate is the flexibility of the Yamamoto neoprene, which never feels restrictive. The two layers of titanium make a real difference at the end of a dive, when the cold normally starts to set in. It is the perfect choice for the demanding recreational diver or future technical diver who wants a reliable and warm suit.

❓ Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What is the difference between this and the "Neoprene Pro" version ? The Classic version uses a highly resistant Supratex/Nylon coating, while the Pro version is fully covered with Kevlar for extreme environments such as caving.

Can a heating system be installed ? Absolutely. Like the entire SF TECH range, it is compatible with the heating inflator and can be used with Polartec SF TECH underwear.

How does it perform at depth ? Thanks to the high-density compressed neoprene, the material's compression is very limited, ensuring much more stable thermal insulation and buoyancy than conventional neoprene.
