Thermal comfort: layers of Aerogel are placed on the chest, thighs and kidneys to protect the areas most exposed to the cold.
Water-repellent and windproof material: a technical outer layer protects against draughts before entering the water and wicks moisture away from the body during exercise.
Freedom of movement: stretch panels at the joints allow for unrestricted movement.
Design: openings are provided for the use of a heating system or a wee valve (P-valve).

HALO A°R MEN'S UNDERWEAR FOURTH ELEMENT is designed with Aerogel, one of the most insulating materials ever developed, offering exceptional thermal protection with reduced thickness. Ideal for wearing under a dry suit for those who feel the cold.

The one-piece design ensures continuous protection without thermal bridges at the waist. This thermal protection has been evaluated with thermal imaging cameras in order to improve and modify the prototypes.

The zip fastener and offset chest deflectors minimise heat loss from the torso when in a horizontal position. The entire body, from shoulders to knees, is protected by an A°RGON™ insulating layer.

The Halo A·R is a real revolution for technical divers. What I like is that you don't feel like a 'Bibendum' despite the protection it offers. The Aerogel doesn't compress, so even at 60 metres, you stay as warm as you would on the surface. It's the ideal garment for those who want to limit the amount of gas they carry while staying perfectly warm.

Can this undergarment be worn alone under a drysuit ? The Halo A·R is designed to be worn over a thin technical base layer (such as J2 or Xerotherm) to optimise moisture wicking and skin comfort.

What is the difference between this and the Arctic model from the same brand ? The Halo A·R is more technical and performs better thanks to the Aerogel. It is designed for very cold water or dives with long decompression stops, whereas the Arctic is more suitable for temperate waters.

Is the garment compatible with all dry suits ? Its relative thinness allows it to fit under all suits, whether they are made of compressed neoprene or trilaminate.
