What I like about this Tecline model is the sturdiness of the rear loop: once slipped onto the tank strap, it doesn’t budge a millimetre. Can they be fitted to the shoulder straps of a harness ? Yes, it’s entirely possible. Many divers place them on the shoulder straps, behind the D-rings, to shift weight towards the upper body.

Is the weight easy to remove in an emergency ? These are ‘trim’ pockets; they cannot be released instantly like main weight pockets. They are designed to remain fixed throughout the dive.

Do they fit all tank straps ? They are compatible with all standard 5 cm wide straps. Their height is optimised so as not to interfere with the fitting of the wing or backplate.
