How does the oscillating weight wind the watch ?  The natural movements of your arm cause the rotor, or oscillating weight, to rotate inside the case. This rotation gradually winds the mainspring, ensuring a power reserve of approximately 40 hours.

Can you dive to very great depths with this model ? The certified 50 ATM water resistance allows for scuba diving down to 500 metres. You must ensure that the crown is screwed down fully before each dive and that it is not adjusted whilst underwater.

How should the watch be maintained to preserve its 500-metre water resistance ? Rinse the watch with fresh water after every dive in the sea to remove salt and sand deposits from under the bezel. Have the seals checked and the water resistance tested by a watchmaker every 2 to 3 years.
