TECLINE weight pouch

Tecline weight pouches are designed for divers who wish to replace the traditional weight belt with a system integrated into the harness.

Please refer to this product sheet for all the available variants, allowing you to customise your kit to suit your configuration and needs: whether you require light weighting or a large capacity.

Each pocket is sold with its own mounting kit (stainless steel bolts) for attachment to the slots on your backplate.

Please note: The pocket is supplied with a short screw

Please use the short screw provided to attach the pocket to the backplate. If you need to install the pocket alongside another accessory (e.g. backplate padding), please use a long screw (T01103), which must be purchased separately.

Available versions and capacities :

• Single pocket (right or left): capacity of approx. 4 kg, ideal for standard weighting and a streamlined setup.
• Double pocket (right or left): increased capacity up to 6 kg per pocket, perfect for cold-water dives requiring more weight.
• Pocket with quick-release buckle: compact design with quick-release fastening, to be attached to the bottle straps

The advantage of attaching the pockets directly to the plate with bolts is that the weight no longer pulls on the shoulders or the waist strap. What I like about these Tecline models is the rigidity of the base: even with 5 or 6 kg inside, the bag doesn’t sag. It’s reliable equipment, simple to fit, and really frees up your hips whilst swimming.

Do I need to buy a right-hand and a left-hand bag ? Yes, for perfect balance, it is recommended to fit a symmetrical pair. The release handles are specifically oriented for natural extraction depending on the side.

Are they compatible with all stainless steel or aluminium plates ? Yes, the drill holes and 50 mm strap loops comply with international standards. They can be fitted to Tecline, Apeks, XDeep, Halcyon, etc.

Are the bolts really included ? Absolutely. Each pocket comes with its own 316 stainless steel hardware for immediate installation without the need for additional purchases.
