Scuba tank 3L 300 bar galvanized steel

3L diving tank with a major innovation. This diving cylinder is made of a special steel which allows a surface treatment called hot-dip galvanization.

The 3L diving cylinder is directly immersed in a zinc bath at a temperature close to 500°C. The zinc film melts with the metal and provides a very effective protection against rust. No more paint is needed, they are sold naked.

The galvanizing process is widely used on street light posts or metal structures in corrosive environments.

This liquid zinc process can be visually irregular and present some color variations. The grey color tarnishes a little with time.
